Toys that integrate senses: Exposure to the right kind of toy that can provide an integration of all the 5 senses would be the best thing to do in the beginning. For children from 3 to 5 years, toys with bright colors, pictures and flashing lights can be given, wooden alphabet blocks and flashcards all these helps in improving senses. Toys that improve communication skills: Toys that enhance expression and body language would help autistic children to express various emotions of love, desire and fear. Emotion card is an excellent way to assist children to recognize and imitate different facial expressions. Smart talk card sets helps in engaging the child with various talks on home, family, animals and school. Sign languages can be easily learnt with the help of signing times set of games.
