Quinapril Side Effects
Quinapril is a medication that is used to treat high blood pressure. The drug can be used by itself or with other drugs which treat heart failure. Quinapril is classed as an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. The drug can improve blood flows by decreasing certain chemical. Blood vessels will be tighten to improve circulation in the cardiovascular system.Generally, Quinapril is taken as a tablet once or twice a day. It is important to follow the directions carefully. Inform you pharmacist and doctor if you take other medications, herbal products, nutritional supplements, and vitamins. Some drugs may interact with Quinapril. Your physician may need to monitor the side effects and dosage more carefully.
If you are pregnant or planning to, your doctor needs to be informed. Quinapril is not a safe drug for pregnancy. It can cause injury and death to the fetus.
If you have the history of diabetes, heart, kidney, and liver disease, make sure your doctor knows.

Like all other medicines, Quinadril has side effects. Common side effects like headache, dizziness, cough, vomiting, tiredness, and nausea should NOT persist. Consult your doctor if that is not the case.
