Is Hcg Protocol Safe ?

HCG protocol is a controversial method of losing weight as it is not approved by the US FDA. This, however, does not mean that it is an unsafe method. HCG diet injections are not approved as the FDA has to stake too much if they approve it. The scientific researches support it as a perfect means to loss weight.

The method is developed from the fact that HCG can burn fat, which can be exploited to reduce fat. This basic idea combined with a healthy low calorie diet and moderate exercise routine resulted in the development of HCG protocol by Dr. Simeons. HCG regulates hypothalamus, which is responsible for abnormal fat accumulation in obese people. This hypothesis also added to the discovery of HCG protocol.

HCG protocol will not eradicate obesity. It helps in a rapid reduction in weight during the course of treatment. There is no age or sex limitation for this treatment. This treatment method follows a prescribed method of diet. It also includes some behavior modifications along with the pharmacological and diet-related aspects.

Only unsafe modification of the diet will lead to severe drawbacks. HCG is not an artificial product. Hence, there is no harm in taking HCG injections or oral HCG in low doses. Extensive research on HCG treated population confirms the fact that it is a safer method to reduce the weight. Complications and related side effects are caused due to the unsafe protocol modifications. 500 calories diet is the prescribed diet in the original treatment. HCG targets abnormal fat storage regions like abdomen, thighs and buttocks. Hence, it is more efficient than other traditional weight loss methods.
