One of the classic symptoms of scabies is the excessive itching that cannot be stopped. Also, the itching seems to be increasing during the nights when you are sleeping. The itching will cause a rash. However, the main reason for itching when you have scabies is because these mites are crawling under your skin and traveling to warmer places so that they can lay more eggs. These mites are eight legged microscopic creatures and they can only crawl. They feed on human blood. When you start scratching, the skin becomes red. It looks like a small line with tiny bumps on it. It can also be a group of tiny red bumps. The bumps are caused because the mites are inside.
