Scabies is a type of skin infection, which is caused by mites. They burrow into the skin and cause excessive itching and also red rashes all over the body. You can use some home based remedies to relieve the itching and other symptoms of scabies. Constant itching will also make the harsh sore and lead to infection.

Usually doctors prescribe Dermisil to treat the disease. For home based treatments, use a paste of garlic combined with mint. The mint has a cooling effect on the skin, and the garlic is effective in killing the mites. You can also use herbal treatment creams to cure scabies. Wash all your bedding and clothes in hot water. It will kill the parasites and keep you away from future infection. Wash everything that you use including your undergarments. Scabies mites can get into your body from anywhere like the bed you sleep on or the clothes you wear. Dry out your mattress in the sun because sunlight kills all the mites in a very effective way.
