Migraine Symptoms

The symptom of migraine is a headache which is a horrible condition to have. A migraine can occur on one side or both the sides of the head. When you have a headache, it is actually difficult to tell which side is hurting. An ordinary headache is quite different than a migraine.

A migraine is the worst type of headache to have as the pain is severe. You feel that the whole head is constricted and actually you can feel your nerves constricted. People experiencing a migraine are very sensitive to light, it can also cause vomiting and nausea and also they are sensitive to sound. In other words, the migraine affects your vision and hearing capabilities. When a person is suffering from a migraine, they prefer to be in a dark room which is extremely quiet.

Also, for a person having a migraine, the relief comes when they finally vomit. However, this relief is temporary and the migraine starts all over again. It is pretty torturous to imagine. A migraine actually has no pattern of occurrence and it can also start midnight while you are sleeping. Several people complain that they wake up with a horrible headache and it is a form of migraine actually.

Migraine is classified with only one symptom and that is called a headache. Unfortunately, medical science has not been able to find a permanent and lasting cure for migraine. However, alternative medicine like acupuncture does help to cure migraines. There are other home based medications like ginger which relieve you of migraines and if you have it everyday, you can keep migraines at bay.
