Kidney is one of the most valuable organs of human body. It performs an essential function of filtering the waste products from our body like excess salt and body fluids. Additionally, kidneys help in reviving red blood cells, controlling blood pressure and toughing the human skeletal system.
Certain disorders results due to impairment of the kidney functions, and such a condition is often termed as kidney or renal failure. A renal failure can have a severe impact in our body and can be fatal. The initial subtle symptoms could be nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, weakness, fatigue, dry and itchy skin. The feet can be swollen accompanied with moderate pain. A slight pain can also be felt in the back lower back. The frequency of urination decreases even when sufficient water is being taken in. As the disease progressively worsens, the blood pressure increases along with the heart beat. One can see puffiness in the face. Patient finds difficulty in sleeping and concentrating on anything. There is an unusual gain in weight. Patient suffers from anemia due to reduced red blood cells. These warning signs are quite subtle, so one has to be careful and ask for thorough medical tests for the confirmation of renal failure.
