Hypertension most commonly known as high blood pressure leads to increased pressure on the artery walls. If hypertension goes out of the extent of control, it may lead to various dangerous consequences from health point of view. Uncontrolled high blood pressure may result in various health problems.
As far as the dangerous health hazards associated with the uncontrolled hypertension are concerned, then there is a huge list which is most likely to increase depending on the level of ignorance paid by the patient along with other important links like the physician himself. It may first of all lead to hardening and thickening of the arteries and this is a condition which is called atherosclerosis. This ultimately results in heart attack which then appears to be highly dangerous for the patient. It seems that a little bit of ignorance in this direction may lead to life threatening diseases as well.
Moreover, it may cause weakening and bulging of the blood vessels that leads to the formation of aneurysm. It may further get ruptured and bleeding may start inside the human body which is again a life threatening disease. Heart failure is another dangerous consequence in the list which is caused by the thickening of heart muscle with a view of pumping huge amounts of blood. High blood pressure is known to affect all arteries including the ones that lead to the brain. Thus, it is possible that hypertension if uncontrolled may lead to strokes. Hypertension needs to be controlled at the right stage with the help of appropriate treatment measures otherwise various other health problems like kidney failure and vision problems are more likely to occur.
