Hepatitis B Symptoms

Hepatitis B is a dangerous case of liver inflammation caused by hepatitis B virus. What makes the condition dangerous is the fact that it usually cannot be detected in the body during its initial stage. This is because this infection seldom shows any signs or symptoms. When it does, they are either very mild in nature, causing no concern to the victim or most being similar to those of flu, the victim confuses it with that disease and reacts accordingly. Thus, by the time the real infection is discovered in the body, it becomes quite late to do most of the treatments to cure it.

The symptoms of hepatitis B are appetite loss, feeling fatigue and tired after even the slightest of the work, vomiting and nausea among others. If the hepatitis B virus attacks a body, the victims may develop itching sensation all over his body and may feel slight pain on the right of the abdomen, a little below the rib cage, which is where the liver is situated. But since these situations also happen to people not ever affected with hepatitis B virus, most tend to ignore them rather than go in for a blood test.

There are a few symptoms of hepatitis B too which are a bit unusual than the others. These include darkening of the urine, stools becoming grayish or clay-colored and bouts of jaundice, a condition of the human being where the exposed parts like eyes and the skin turn yellowish in color. Thus, it is advisable never to neglect oneself if any of these symptoms show if a worse situation like hepatitis B is to be avoided.
