Due to problems in nerve layer, retinal disorders occur. Another common disease is conjunctivitis, which is caused due to infection of the conjunctiva. The disease is also known as pinkeye.

The best way to prevent and control eye diseases is to get regular and periodic checkups. Some eye diseases do not show symptoms in the early stage. Thus, diagnosis is necessary to control the disease in its early stage. This helps to prevent the vision loss and blindness.

Few eye diseases show some common symptoms like pain, inflammation, double vision and the fluid discharge from the eyes.
