Many of the diseases are not well known and hit the individual accidentally. On the other hand, various diseases are a result of our environmental and behavioral factors.
Also, lifestyle and economic status of the individual contribute to determine the degree of possibility of getting a particular disease.All the above factors include cigarette smoking, eating red and processed meat, alcohol addiction, or eating junk foods, but use of cosmetic products, which contain harmful and toxic chemicals, cannot be avoided in this context.
According to some experts, some of the following chemicals are used in make up and other cosmetic products, and these chemicals are known carcinogens. Hence, regular and constant use of make up or cosmetic products containing these chemicals can cause cancer.
DEA or Diethanolamine is used in the products, which bubble and foam. Different soaps, shampoos, body wash and face wash are the examples of such products.
Formaldehyde is used in hair and skin products, including nail polish. Besides being a carcinogen, formaldehyde also causes joint pain, allergies, chest pain, headaches and infections.
Parabens is found in shampoos, conditioners, deodorants and skin creams. Studies have shown Parabens in the sample of breast cancer tumors.
Petrolatum is frequently used in lip sticks and lip balms. This affects the normal cell division and its development. Therefore, it can lead to cancer.
PPD or Phenyledediamine is used in hair dyes. PPD is carcinogenic in nature and it can lead to cancer of the bladder.
Phthalates are used to make shampoos, deodorants, baby products and skin care products. Phthalates are known to be carcinogenic in nature. Initially, phthalates cause common headaches, rashes, skin irritation, vomiting and coughing. However, with prolonged use, phthalates can lead to cancer.
