Stomach ulcer causes heart burn and acidity. It is caused due to excess secretion of gastric acids. Stomach ulcer is also caused due to acid reflux disease.
However, the only way to manage this condition is by being careful about your diet primarily, and taking medications that ease the discomfort. Nonetheless, stomach ulcers should be taken rather seriously as they can lead to major problems, including heart attack.If you are prone to ulcers, then avoid spicy foods. They are precursors of the ulcers, and cause them to proliferate. Eat smaller meals so that they digest easily. Also, do not stay hungry or indulge in overeating.
When you eat, do not swallow big chunks. Instead, take small bites and chew the food properly before swallowing. When you eat, make sure you include the following food items in your meals:

Even coffee and tea tend to add to the discomfort, and make you more prone to stomach ulcers. Having it once a day is fine, but having coffee and tea repeatedly can cause deeper problems. Other habits like smoking and drinking alcohol can cause more ulcers in the stomach. Also, one should avoid eating hot food. Milk protein is supposed to have a neutralizing effect on gastric acid. So, when the stomach feels acidic, have cold glass of milk.
